Art in the Park is a fun-filled community event that offers artists of all ages the chance to create works of beauty while enjoying the great outdoors. Throughout the sunny summer months, a variety of skilled instructors teach classes highlighting a variety of media on UVA’s side lawn. TIE DYE NIGHT WITH
THE SIMON TWINS

Join us for our last Art in the Park for 2025! Nothing screams “summer” like tie dying, and we’re celebrating the final weeks of the season with a special evening of exploring fabric dying with The Simon Twins! The Twins will teach tie-dye techniques so you can learn all about the tie-dyeing process for beautiful designs and lasting colors. This is a great family-friendly workshop, with adult and youth rates available so sign up with your child, parent, neighbor, or a friend!
Open to all ages! Registration includes instruction and materials. Option to purchase bites and sips available in the registration form.
Payment and Refund Policy: Full payment at time of registration is required. Up until two weeks prior to the start of the event, you will receive a full refund (minus a $10 service charge) should you need to cancel your registration. However, cancellations made after this two-week time frame are nonrefundable. Should UVA cancel the event, all participants will receive a full refund or credit toward future classes.
