That Other Band grooves are infection, the harmonies are warming and their jibe is captivating.  Genre:  Motown Centered Funk, Rhythm and Blues, Funky old Soul, Roots Music

Led by the fiddler Mr. Kelly Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Etouffee combines red hot fiddle, shufflin’ rhythm and blues, and kickin’ Southern rock to create an exciting new sound known as Swamp Rock.

Kudana has been entertaining crowds throughout the Pacific Northwest with Marimba music for over twenty-five years! Their performances are filled with energy and the spirit of Zimbabwe.

Midnight Darlins

While Ruth’s songwriting has drawn comparisons to Lucinda Williams and Mary Gauthier, her right-hand-man Johnny Leal relies heavily on his blues sensibilities. Together Midnight Darlins create their signature Doo-Wop Twang sound that reflects the rural Oregon landscape that they call home.

Shelia Wilcoxson

Guitarist, pianist, and singer/songwriter Sheila Wilcoxson has been a fixture in Portland’s blues scene for decades.

Slow Ponies

The six woman “cowgirl band” recreates the yodels, sweet harmonies and spirited lyrics of classic western bands like Sons of the Pioneers.  Their repertory also includes recent and original songs by band members.

Aleta McGee

Aleta is a solo vocalist.  She has love of Irish and soft pop, her musical repertoire consists of both styles intermingled. Aleta was the Gallery Director at UVAA for 5+ years.   Genre: acoustic folk with guitar.
