Arts Center Field Trips

UVAA invites teachers to bring your 4th grade class to the Arts Center free of charge!

From October 12th through May 31st we are opening our doors to your students for a fun art-filled day.  Field trips are being offered free of charge, including transportation, to 4th grade classes from schools in Douglas County.

Field Trips may be scheduled on Thursday’s or Friday’s and run from 10:00am to 1:30pm, not including transportation time.  There will be one bus for each school with a maximum capacity depending on the bus in your district. Bring sack lunches and one adult volunteer per 10 children.

While at the Arts Center, students will participate in three art stations, focusing on basic elements of art (line, shape, etc), sculpture, and painting.  In addition, teachers will select an Art Express lesson relevant to classroom curriculum.  Lessons must be identified when reservations are made.  To see our Art Express catalog please click here.

All Art Center Field Trips are fully booked for the 2017 – 18 School Year.  Please check back next year.  To register for the Arts Center Field Trip, please click here.
