Honor Walk

SATURDAY, JUNE 24 | 8:45 – 10:30 AM

The first of many building centennial events, the Honor Walk is a mile-and-a-half walk from the Armory in downtown Roseburg to the Roseburg National Cemetery adjacent to Fir Grove Park. This walk replicates a tradition from the past, typically held on Memorial Day, when veterans gathered to honor those who served our country.

FREE and open to the public.






Dinner & Music

FRIDAY, JULY 21 | 5 – 9 PM

This centennial celebration event features music and food popular a century ago.  Featuring Stephanie Newman on vocals and Michael Wheeler on keyboard performing songs from 1917 to the present.  Dinner is catered by Jasmine’s.  Menu Here.

Centennial Gala

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2 |  6:30 – 8:30 PM

Show your support for  the Umpqua Valley Arts Association!  This fund-raising gala begins with a champagne social within the art galleries, followed by a seated four-course dinner.  Guests will enjoy an exclusive preview of two major exhibits – a retrospective of the building’s history, and a special curated show of art by veterans.

Tickets may be purchased at UVVA or online here.  Tickets are $100 per person.  This is a formal affair–jacket and tie requested.

Two Special Exhibits

FRIDAY, NOV 3 | 5 – 7 PM |  Exhibit Open House

Two special exhibits will open on Friday, November 3, and continue through December 23. In UVAA’s beautiful Hallie Brown Ford Gallery, a curated exhibit of art by veterans will be on display. In the Corridor Gallery, a photographic history of the building and grounds is being prepared by Centennial Committee Co-Chair Marie Rasmussen.  

Galleries are open to the public Tues – Fri 10am – 4pm & Sat 10am – 2pm. 



Holiday Home Tour


One of Roseburg’s most popular seasonal events, the annual Holiday Home Tour, will feature century-old homes, each uniquely displaying decorations celebrating the Christmas season. These homes are located in Roseburg and the $15 ticket price includes admission to three homes.  Tickets available soon.


Special tours of the building featuring its history and architecture, will also be held from June 23 – Dec 23.  These tours will further explain the transition from hospital to arts center.  For further information and to request a special tour contact the Arts Center at 541 672 2532.
