VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES GALORE!

Our membership boasts some of the most talented and skilled people in Douglas County and your creativity and ingenuity are indispensable in helping the Arts Center fulfill its mission.

If you have some time, please consider becoming an active participant in promoting arts and culture in our community.

HERE ARE JUST A FEW…….

2013 Summer Arts Festival

Our flagship annual event creates excitement for the whole community! There are many ways to get involved and tasks with varying time investments are ready to take on! To be part of the committee, plan to begin meeting (once per month) in November with meetings increasing in May and June. To find out more, contact Areole Trattner at 541-672-2532 or click here.

Angel Volunteer Diana Brown

Our undying gratitude goes to over 175 volunteers who gave their time at a gate, in the gallery, in the artist booths, the Kids’ Zone, on the grounds set-up, clean-up, on the phones or in the office during the 2012 Summer Arts Festival. It took their help to make this festival the most successful ever!!

Creative Castoffs Sale

A group of 4 – 6 people are needed to help organize our annual “Creative Castoffs Sale” – a sale where people can donate art and art supplies for resale to raise money for the Arts Center. Duties include setting a date and location, contacting people to donate art, publicity, setting up the event, and staffing it.

March Madness Membership Drive

A group of 4 – 6 people are needed to organize our March UVAA membership drive. This is an organized drive to recruit new members to the Arts Center.

Contact the Arts Center at 541-672-2532 for additional information. Click here to complete the online volunteer application, or, if you would prefer, you can download a paper copy here and mail it to us.
