Classes & Workshops
Umpqua Valley Arts Association is dedicated in offering excellent classes and workshops for all ages and levels of expertise to our greater community.
During the year we offer the opportunity to participate in a variety of classes ranging from Ceramic Open Studio in The Clay Place, including glazing and firing pottery on-site. Studio East in the main building offers painting instruction in various media including watercolor, oil, acrylic, photography and artist business education classes.

2009 Summer Art Classess for Kids
The Schedule for the 2009 Summer Art Classes for kids is now available online.
For kids 8 years and up, we are offering a seriers of art camps. For the young artist between 6 and 8 we have shorter classes, and new this year, are a series of "Mommy & Me" classes for kids that are 54 - 6 years olds.
All created by teaching artists to spark your child's imagination through hands-on projects that are fun and educational!
You can download the schedule and registration forms or come by the Arts Center and pick one up.

Share Your Creativity through Teaching:
We invite artists interested in teaching classes or workshops to submit proposals for class ideas.
Synopsis or outlines should include artistic technique, or project-oriented plans, length of class, supply list or material fee and cost of tuition.
Proposals for adult classes and workshops should be submitted to Aleta McGee, Gallery Manager. Contact Aleta at 672-2532 or email aleta@uvarts.com.
Classes geared toward youngsters, children and teens should be directed to: Shawn Ramsey-Watson at 672-2532 or by email at shawn@uvarts.com.
