Art Education in Schools

Learning with the Arts in Mind

"I found I could say things with shapes and colors...things I had no words for."  --Georgia O'Keeffe

The Arts Center offers various art experiences to Douglas County schools and students, helping to make connections between arts education and academic achievement.  Arts-in-Education activities are designed to enrich, enlighten and inspire students.
