Dale Kurtz - WATERCOLOR LANDSCAPE TECHNIQUES TWO
(Skies, Water, Rocks, and Mountains)
Skies and water are both fluid and ever changing. Watercolor is a good way to depict them. The first day Dale will take students through a series of exercises in several methods to paint skies and water. The second day the class will use the rock techniques to paint a Cascade volcano scene. The scene will have a sky of thunderheads with water in the foreground. When painting a watercolor it is important to think out the sequences and we will work out that process. To see samplings of Dale’s work go to his website at www.dalekurtz.com.
