1 for All

Coming to the Hallie Brown Ford Gallery on Friday, March 9, 2012!

The 1 for All fundraising exhibition will feature the works of 56 professional and up-an-coming artists. Each artist has been invited to donate one work of art to the exhibit, which will go up in UVAA's Hallie B. Ford Gallery on March 9.

UVAA will hold a free and open to the public reception for its new “1 for All” exhibit, a fundraiser for the organization, on Friday, March 9th from 5pm – 7pm. There are approximately 60 works in the exhibit, and all have been donated by professional or emerging artists who were invited to contribute in this manner. Most of the art is 12” by 12” or smaller.

Beginning at the opening night reception on March 9th, tickets will be for sale which will entitle the purchaser to one of the artworks on display in the exhibit; the number of tickets available for sale will match the number of artworks in the exhibit.

Then on the evening of Saturday, May 5th, the exhibit will close with a private reception open only to ticket holders, donating artists, and those who choose to purchase a $30 Guest Pass. Participants will enjoy a festive evening featuring music, wine and refreshments. During this time and in a random order, each purchased ticket will entitle its holder to choose one of the artworks to take home.

Ticket sales will be first come, first served starting at the March 9th reception. All but four tickets will be sold for $100 each. These four “premium” tickets will be sold for $500, $400, $300 and $200, and will entitle the ticket holder to first, second, third or fourth choice of the artworks. Tickets will be available for purchase by phone (with a credit card) or at the Arts Center.
